Dock removal & repair - Baptiste Village
The dock in Baptiste Village off Dock St. is scheduled for removal, June 27th, to have repairs completed. The dock is expected to be reinstalled before July 1st, 2016

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry (MNRF) will be conducting the Broadscale Monitoring Program (BsM) on Baptiste Lake this summer.

REMINDER - Septic Pump Out 2016
A septic pump out is being organized for water access cottagers for late June or early July 2016. Please contact Pauline Hawkes at 613-332-4736 (cottage), 613-216-2182 (home), or by email at pauline.hawkes@bell.net. The following information is required.
-Phone number at home, lake and cell
-Email address
-Your 911 Lake address
-A description of where your cottage is from the water view
At least 10 cottagers are required to make this cost efficient. Please contact Pauline prior to May 15, 2016 at which time she will be able to provide you with more information about what is needed to be done to prepare and provide the location of the septic tanks.

Just in case you haven't heard already.... the ICE IS OUT! Not exactly swimming weather but you can get your boat out and about. Watch out for things floating on or near the surface as the water is back up.

Loons are already back too..... the lake is the best place to be!

Missing a dock?
The ice is breaking up and the water is high. Just thought I'd post a pic of a dock that is floating around in the ice by Rabbit Island in front of the marina. Not sure where it will end up and can't get out there right now to secure it.
