You can donate to the BLA by sending an e-transfer to MyBaptisteLake@gmail.com.
The BLA now offers debit payment by Zeffy which is similar to Paypal but they do not charge the BLA a transaction fee. For more info on Zeffy, please see the Membership page.
Zeffy with suggest you leave them a tip, but you can decline.

Ontario Land Tribunal Update Re: Benoir Lake Rd / Elephant Lake Development OLT-25-000818
There is a proposed development on Benoir and Elephant Lakes which could have severe detrimental effects downstream on Baptiste Lake.
While the request now is for approximately 63 housing units, the developers website envisions a total development of 1,271 housing units.
Baptiste Lake Association has been given party status at the Ontario Land Tribunal where the project is being considered after having been denied by Haliburton County and Dysart et al Municipality. As a party to the proceedings the Baptiste Lake Association has hired a lawyer to represent its interests at the hearing. Please donate towards the legal fees so that the Baptiste Lake Association can afford the best legal representation possible.
Tuesday July 28 the Case Management Conference was held to determine next steps for a hearing on this case. On Wednesday, August 19 a decision was issued from the team lead from the Ministry of Attorney General office.
The hearing will start Monday February 22, 2027 (anticipated to last 15 days).
